Social program 10—12 September 2025
Matching with Investors
Once a project passes our stringent evaluation process, Stem matches it with suitable investors from our network. This matchmaking is based on the project's specific needs and the investor's interest areas and investment philosophy.

Our aim is to create synergistic partnerships that provide not just financial support but also strategic value to propel the research forward.
Greenhouse Gathering
Ahead of What's Growing 2025, we invite all participants to an informal “get to know each other” event, where we facilitate networking and collaboration across the industry.
We strongly believe that as the actors in the greenhouse industry get to know each other better, information and experiences are shared more openly. This opens the doors to increased innovation and sustainable development.
By building strong relationships and sharing knowledge, together we can find new solutions to the challenges we face and drive the industry forward.
This event gives you the opportunity to make valuable contacts, share your ideas, and be inspired by the insights and experiences of others. Together, we can create a future where the greenhouse industry not only survives, but flourishes.

Wednesday 10. September at 19:30 - Salon Du Nord
There will be simple dining, and entertainment.

Sustainable themed lunches

What's Growing 2025 will create a unique food professional experience, where creative chefs and restaurateurs from the region contribute their expertise to create unforgettable food and drink experiences.

These talented players bring not only gastronomic enjoyment to the conference, but also valuable insights into how produce from the greenhouse industry can be harnessed in innovative ways.
Through our themed lunches, these chefs will create an arena where food meets sustainability and innovation.
We will demonstrate how to use local and sustainable ingredients to create exquisite dishes that not only satisfy taste buds, but also inspire new thinking throughout the food chain.

We see this as a perfect opportunity to show how food and drink can make new ideas and collaborations grow.

By combining the art of cooking with the topics discussed at the conference, we hope to foster a deeper understanding of how all links in the value chain - from greenhouse to plate - can contribute to a more sustainable future.
Flor & Fjære

As an integral part of What's Growing 2025, we invite participants to a very special experience at Flor & Fjære, a spectacular garden oasis known for its innovative approach to self-sufficiency and circular use of resources.

The event starts with a guided boat trip through the Ryfylkebasin to Ryfylke's own tropical paradise, Flor & Fjære, on the island of Sør-Hidle.
Here you will gain insight into how Flor & Fjær has transformed its greenhouses into not only flowering gardens, but also into a role model for sustainable use of natural resources.
The event at Flor & Fjære includes a guided tour through their impressive greenhouses and landscaped gardens, where you will learn about their journey towards independence and their focus on the circular economy.
Sør-Hidle is an island with no fixed road connection and a public water supply, and the goal of Flor & Fjære is to become self-sufficient with food, electricity and water. With its vision to be self-sufficient and reduce waste to a minimum, Flor & Fjære has implemented innovative solutions that not only preserve the environment, but also inspire visitors to rethink resource use.

The evening will conclude with a memorable dinner based on local produce, where participants will have the opportunity to network and discuss how these principles can be transferred to their own businesses.

Flor & Fjære stands as a vivid example of how sustainability and beauty can go hand in hand, and we hope this experience will inspire new ideas and collaborations across the industry.
